+++++ START WITH A FRESHLY RESTORED iPHONE 1.1.4 +++++

1)download the latest appleibeta**Plugin.zip file from the Plugin Download Thread.

2) unzip the file you downloaded and get theBlucher.zip file from the appleibeta Folder that was unzipped.

3) put the Blucher.zip file on the resources folder of ZiPhone (on a mac, right click your ZiPhone.app then show package contents).

4) Click Activate + Jailbreak. Enjoy.
(if you've previously jailbroken using ZiPhone 3.0, just click Jailbreak, if your iPhone is still locked, click the Activate-Jailbreak-Unlock Button)

Note: If iPhone gets stuck on a black screen with white dot on the top, Hard reset your iPhone and then the jailbreak+pluging-in will continue...

hmmm ... now how to do this on windows ...

on Windows:

1. Download Ziphone 3.0.
2. Download appleibeta13rBlutcher.zip from ZZ's iDisk
3. Uncompress Ziphone 3.0
4. Rename appleibeta13rBlutcher.zip to Blutcher.zip (DO NOT uncompress)
5. Paste it to Ziphone 3.0 Folder
6. Run Ziphone, Activate + Jailbreak Option
7.Wait and enjoy

Did this with combination of Ziphone 3.0 and Ziphone 2.3 to maintain my 4.6BL:

Activate and Jailbreak first with Ziphone 3.0.
Unlock with Ziphone 2.3 (confirmed using BBinfo that 4.6BL is still intact).


i dont know if this is a bug, but when i use MIM to change my carrier to AT&T, it doesn't show the applei.ph logo and it resets my springboard icons to default (icon arrangement will return to its original arrangement after activating/jailbreaking)

thelostsheep actually found what's wrong. ZZ used the AT&T_US folder instead of ATT_US. It should be fixed on the next release.

friendly advice...

once you've ziphone'd the blucher file.

if you wish to install Advanced preferences and Swirly, reboot right after each of them.

i encountered sluggish iphone responses and resulted in crashes. lost wifi on the iphone, i couldn't exit an app, etc.

had to restore so many times. i lost count.

i'm just glad i was able to fix mine, at last!

like with any hack/mod, please use with caution.

don't say we didn't warn you.

fixed the applei carrier image bug. appleibeta14aPlugin.zip is on my iDisk na.

- NO MORE NEED TO RENAME. The Blucher.zip file can be found inside the decompressed folder after you download and unzip the .zip file. Folder name is the name of the plugin version, e.g. appleibeta14a. Just copy and paste the Blucher.zip file onto your ZiPhone's Resources folder (the directory where ziphone.exe,zibri.dat,Inga.dat,dfu.dat are)
