Now that the Apple tablet is finally a reality and will soon be available in 2-3 months, who's still drooling... and who's not? Share your thoughts and try to convince the rest of us--why you should (or shouldn't) get Apple's "next big thing", the iPAD.

The iPad is definitely not a device anybody NEEDS. It's purely a luxury item that, if you can afford it or are willing to pay the import surcharges,then by all means get one. I have a Macbook, iPod Touch and iPhone 3GS but I'm still considering getting one but if and only when all the bugs and nuances have been worked out (like with the iPhone). Might make a nice Christmas gift for myself. I can wait. =)

Im happy with my Iphone 3GS 32GB. Im happy with my HP Desktop. IM happy with my Macbook...period!! hehehe plus PSP & Wii ....what do u think? still need to buy IPad...I dont think so

I have been waiting for this product for the longest time, and guess what- a major dissppointment! The inability to play avi/divx-bummer Same OS as iphone-bummer Did not have the minority report interface-BUMMER They should come up with sumtin like the mini xp imagine this gadget running a more simple version of SL- with hot corners! Well that's just me. Wishfull thinking!
