i need help how to update my iphone to the latest version and how to put the applications and how to jailbreak? by thw way my iphone is 16gb 3gs version 3.1.2

I'm using 3G Carrier locked but not Globe. with 3.1.2 version. I want to upgrade to 3.1.3 and unlock my phone too. Is this the FW I need?

I used this to upgrade a friend's 3G (straight from 2.2FW) after the upgrade using this FW, the basesband remained at 02.28.00 (which is good right?) HOWEVER I can't seem to have it unlocked, I tried both blacksn0w and ultrasn0w - best that happened is that "No service" replaced the no signal bar

Is there anything I should be doing pa?

hmm i think yellowsn0w can unlock those with baseband 2.28.00

I'm having problem since my baseband is still 02.28.00 that requires the old unlocking tool (Yellowsn0w
If u have the higher modem baseband - I think Ultrasn0w will work for you.

my baseband is 04.26.08. Do you think ultrasnow will work for me?
