Blacksnow jailbreaks 3.1.2 and Blacksnow unlocks your phone with baseband 5.11.
Once you have ran and installed Blackrain, connect to to a network, launch Blackrain and install Blacksnow

Hi all,

I just upgraded to FW312 and "jailbreak" with BlackRain. Installed Cydia and other stuff with no problems except Iphone Browser is saying my iPhone is not jaibroken ! I tried to ssh but I get connection refused errors everytime.

What gives? BlackRain is a jailbreak right?

Thanks....

Make sure you install openssh from cydia and bossprefs or sbsettings.
Once done, turn ON openssh (via bossprefs or sbsettings toggle) and try to SSH again.
and Yes, Blackrain is a Jailbreaking tool

Heya puklo, if you used the latest release of blackra1n, iphonebrowser should actually work fine. But if it really is stubborn and won't let iphonebrowser in, try installing "afc2add" from Cydia. It's a fix that was intended for the older Blackra1n release specifically for this problem but it's an option you can opt to try out.

Hi,
Installed SSH and it's working now. iPhoneBrowser still says my fone ain't jailbroken. I find iPhoneBrowser more convenient in moving files to and from the iFone though.......Thanks!!!

Hi,

Thanks for the info, will try it out. Like I said, I like iPhoneBrowser if I'm just moving files 'tween my pc and fone. BTW I used BlackRa1n RC3....SSH is working fine now. Thanks again!!!
