1. If MMS still works (though slow as mentioned) even if 3G is turned off, then why do I always get a "Failure to send" error message when I attempt to send an MMS with 3G off?

2. Anyone know what value I should place in the MMS Max Message Size field for Smart? Anyone have an idea what Smart recommends as their default? If I place the value of 100000 = 100kb, will the iphone automatically resize the MMS message (text, photo and/or voice included) to fit using the supplied parameters? Or will the photo taken with the iphone still be of the same size (granting the iphone is a 2megapixel camera) thus will still be too large to be processed by another non-iphone unit once it is sent out? I am perplexxed by all this!

Hmmm .... Strange but when i changed the mms file size settings to "none" and then back - suddenly it works! Really strange!

On the other hand, I still have to turn the 3G switch on in order to successfully send MMS. I wonder what is wrong? Can anyone assist me on this - why this has to be so when it shouldn't be necessary?

weird thing's been happening to me lately, i can't seem to accept MMS sent to me as i get messages saying...

which is weird coz i tried sending one to me and i was able to but can't receive it properly like before, all i get is the message above. any ideas anyone?

i already reset the settings. even tried putting 307200 on the msg max size, but no go. i now can't receive mms. but i can send. help!!!!

Is your SIM prepaid or postpaid? If prepaid, it may be a problem with Smart itself and not the settings I've posted here.

tulisan, postpaid ang smart sim ko. everything was fine sa mms since i went 3.0 via ultrasnow. pero this week lang, biglaan. hope you can help.

try resetting network settings

Very helpful procedure.

I wish there's a detailed procedure also for mac.

I can't really follow the procedure for winzip am using mac and hence using Cyberduck in the way to do it. But winzip seems a very easy tool to follow because you will see everything there unlike in Cybereduck it's entirely different.
