You can do that. MMS will still be enabled but tethering options unfortunately will be gone. Tethering options only exist with the default settings. You can upload a configured .ipcc file to your phone to renable it while retaining your minternet settings which disables your internet.

For the benefit of Globe prepaid users, I've edited the Globe's APN to reflect the proper APN automatically. You can rename the default Globe folder to Globe_ph.bundle.bak and just copy the attached file (after unzipping) to the Carrier Bundle folder. Don't forget the permissions. No need to edit the symlink. Then reset your networks settings to reflect load the new one.

Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings

you don't need to upload another file. just reset the network settings. uploading another custom file might just conflict with carrier bundle hack. if you remove the APN, internet and tethering won't work. It goes together. MMS should still work.

Right. I got confused. Apologies.

So to clarify some things, if you reset your APN settings, your MMS APN again (mms.globe.com.ph) will be blank again right and internet MMS will be on it's default settings again with the correct network names (internet.globe.com.ph or http.globe.com.ph) ?

First check your SIM if gprs/mms is already activated. Then try sending a MMS to yourself. MMS only works with iPhone 3G and 3GS. It won't work on 2G (You need Swirly MMS for that)

It's me who's confused now hahaha! If I read your post correctly, if you change SIM or reset the Network settings, all default settings on the carrier bundle hack I uploaded will automatically be loaded again.

In case of the Globe hack I uploaded which is for Globe prepaid users only, the default APN settings that will be loaded is that of the prepaid users (http.globe.com.ph). If you plan to use a Globe postpaid SIM, you need to revert back to the original Globe settings and remove my Globe prepaid hack, OR simply edit the APN setting.

Yes I am using iPHone 3G.... Anyway sige ask ko nalang sa Customer Service ng SUN kung activated yung MMS ko. Nakaplan kasi ako eh
