You will not be charged with internet charges since MMS send and receive settings is different from the internet settings. You can even send/receive MMS even if you turn on Edge/3G to OFF

I'm not sure if Globe also use 51502 for their prepaid SIMs since it's used in postpaid and the APN is different for prepaid users. Unlike Smart which uses the same APN for both prepaid and postpaid users.

For the benefit of Globe prepaid users, I've edited the Globe's APN to reflect the proper APN automatically. You can rename the default Globe folder to Globe_ph.bundle.bak and just copy the attached file (after unzipping) to the Carrier Bundle folder. Don't forget the permissions. No need to edit the symlink. Then reset your networks settings to reflect load the new one.

Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings

afaik it runs by smart telecom..correct me if im wrong..

@ Tulisan, I follow your instruction and successfully uploaded the Sun_Ph file on my iphone 3G via WINSCP but the Internet Tethering doesn't showed up on General->Network settings and my MMS also doesn't work. I used RedSnow and Ultrasn0w to jailbreak and unlock my iphone.

Here's what I saw on my MMS settings:
MMSC: mmscenter.suncellular.com.ph
MMS Proxy: 202.138.159.78:8080
MMS Max Message Size: 307200

I'm using a postpaid sun.

Do you have any idea what seems the problem?
