got this message this morning when i opened my SwirlyMMS2 (ver.2.0.2) on my iphone 2G (FW 2.2.1).







i'm excited! now the pressure to get a new iphone isn't as great (well, at least for me. )

the SwirlyMMS2 version for FW 3.0 has been released. too bad it doesn't work parallel with the built-in MMS feature in Messages (as posted in the FW 3.0 thread).


i guess i'd have to bid farewell to my SwirlyMMS2 license. sigh.

EDIT: on second thought, .3gp and .amr files are supported by SwirlyMMS2, so i just might keep it.

if you purchased a license, i still think it would be worth it.

as i mentioned in my previous post, SwirlyMMS2 can support .3gp playback, .amr capture/sending/playback. i think the MMS in Messaging can only support pictures and text/subject.

at least you now have choices in which MMS application you want to use.
