mga sir isang mabilis na tanong i have a 3g firmware 3.1.3 w 5.12 baseband and jailbroken by redsnow,, can i just add the repo and unlock it or do i need to restore and rejailbrake via spirit??

You can just add the Ultrasnow repo and proceed with the unlock

i have iphone 3GS (new bootrom) given to me by my sister from europe and currently jailbroken by blackra1n..the thing is i'm really sicked and tired of tethered JB and some issues about WIFI nga sa blackra1n. firmware is 3.1.2 baseband 5.11.07 pa rin never ko upgrade sa 3.1.3 kasi nga d ko magagamit since walang unlock before sa 3.1.3 e lumabas na rin naman yun OS4.

question is i researched na rin sa net lahat at nagtanong tanong sa mga kakilala ko, meron na daw JB for OS4 for 3GS pero para lang sa old bootroms. stuck pa rin phone ko ngayon at d ko magamit gamit kasi nga ayaw ko na JB using blackra1n. i never tried using spirit JB kasi nga d gagana spirit unless you have an official sim which comes with the phone (in my case T-mobile yung official carrier sa europe).

hoping someone could really help me on my case..sayang naman kasi kung matatambak lang phone ko while waiting for JB for OS4 for 3GS with NEW bootroms.

don't worry sir di ka nagiisa marami rin tayong naka pending sa iOS4 jalbreak for 3gs new bootroom, "patience is a virtue sabi nga nila dito sa applei..

will it benefit anything upgrade to 3.1.3 or higher version of baseband? or should I just stay with 3.1 na lang?

You can have an unthethered Jb by using spirit (FW 3.1.3) - unless that's a FU unlocked phone di ka pa din pwede mag upgrade sa iOS4
