Just caught this in MuscleNerd's Twitter account. Very good news for owners of tethered jailbreak devices. (Only works up to OS 3.1.2 though)

Which led me to this website, which in turn led to this very interesting proof of concept. (well, if MuscleNerd is a believer, who am I to contradict?)

The creator, Mribreakit, is currently asking for donations to get the ball rolling on mass production (he offered MuscleNerd a test unit to load the latest exploit on). Let's hope he reaches his target soon.

Mribreakit appears to be a sincere guy too. He mentioned on his blog that he'd return all donations if the target amount isn't reached.
