Download the following files to your desktop:

1. Ultrasn0w deb file(see links below for latest ultrasn0w)

2. Mobile Substrate (see link below for latest mobile substrate)

Using any SSH app (diskaid, iphone browser, etc), connect to your iPhone and navigate to the var/root/Media folder and create the folder Cydia/AutoInstall (if it's not there yet)

Place the deb file in the AutoInstall folder

Reboot your iPhone twice.


NOTE: i havent personally tested this one, so for those who will try to use it, please post feedbacks
here

i spent a day just finding and testing method to unlock iphone without wifi connection..this method works!! thank you

Hi Kikz,

I tried diskaid and verified that the files are in the autoinstall folder. And rebooted several times (pressing the power button) but still ultrasnow and other deb files do not install.

iphone 3g - 3.1.3

Anything I am doing wrong?

make sure the full path is correct var/root/Media/Cydia/AutoInstall taking note of the capitalization of the letters (marked in red)

Here is the latest ultrasn0w deb file for offline unlockers.

ultrasn0w 1.1-1 supports the following basebands/modem firmware: iP4 1.59.00 & 3G/3Gs 4.26.08, 5.11.07, 5.12.01 and 5.13.04.

Follow same procedure posted by thread starter Kuya Kikz.

Was able to unlock with this. Thanks. Now what to do with wifi problem? I'm on a 3GS. Jailbroke using Pwnage Tool 4.1.2

Using your SIM's data connections (3g/edge) open cydia, add cydia.pushfix.info repository and install FiX Wifi tweak.
