my own gripe with the winMo isn't w/the UI but rather in its stock clock alarm function did not wake the device to sound its alarm, thus not waking me up for work for countless number of times. it's a major bug that hasn't been fixed since the archaic winMo 2000 and 2003 devices. had to rely on a real alarm clock to wake me up. since the dawn of the iphone, waking-up was a breeze.

any other former windows mobile users out there? what do you think?

i was a former winmo user and im very happy i switched to iphone..very good touchscreen response..very user friendly, better interface than windows mobile, and many applications to download..IMO..

Yup, used to be a winmobile from back in the 90s - Zaurus, Cassiopeia E-15, Cassiopeia E100, ipaq4515, Dopod 808 pro, Dopod 838pro. Been a hardcore winmobile user and didnt think a better platform existed. I got curious w/the iphone and all its hype and bought the iphone 2g instead of the new HTC whatever.

Never looked back. For awhile i had two phones - Dopod 838 Pro and Iphone 2G. I just realized i was using the 838 lesser and lesser until i gave it away cause i wasnt using it. I stopped at windowsmobile 6.1 hehehe

on a side note, i still frequent my fave ppc site. For movies mainly. Then all of a sudden, they have sections for iphone already.
