hi guys,

i need help with my ipod 2nd gen. yes, i mean the black and white one.

it won't charge, whether i hook it up to an external AC or to USB. when you try pressing a button, the "no battery" icon pops up. itunes won't detect it, and it doesn't turn on when plugged in.

now, i want to have this fixed, but i'm not sure if it's just the battery or the ipod itself. don't want to have to buy a battery only to find that the ipod's completely busted already.

any help?

About 2 years later, does your ipod work well now?
