Good decision to get the ORIGINAL charger.. Based on my experience with a class A charger, my battery indicator showed 100% charged, then after an hour, it went down to 45%. Then I ended up going to the mall to get it reprogrammed cuz I went on panic mode. But after explaining to the tech. that I used a class A charger, he told me to stop using it and just buy an original one.

got mine at CD-R king the generic USB charger, still using it close to two years. And the price is not more than 300.

IMHO, It's better to use an original charger than class A chargers. Imagine risking the price of your phone just because of a Php 300 charger. Not worth it

always go with the original charger since it may eventually affect the phone's battery performance

Same with the cheap USB cable you can buy almost anywhere. Kapag maka-tiyempo ka ng shorted ang terminals say bye bye to your gadget.

is there a way to check if the charger you're buying outside the apple store is orig or not?

how about those belkins and capdase chargers sold by mac store?
