Im planning to buy a casing for my iphone 3g and at first I wanted to buy the incase slider because that was my casing for my itouch 1g. But a friend recommended the NeoCapsule for me and i also liked the product.

Can anyone give me their personaly experiences with the two cases? the incase slider is 35$ while the NEocapsule is 30$. well as of now im leaning towards NEocapsule.

iskin solo, iskin fx or iskin duet for me if you want your iphone to be protected but still classy but if you prefer a more minimal case, powersupport airjacket or SGP brand is nice too..

yeah i saw that at their site and i dont like it too much. I think silicons alone will sag in the long run.

Well thanks for the other recommendations ill try to look into it. For now Im going for capsule neo

it really depends on the ones you buy. the branded ones always use better quality silicone that does not attract dust and remain very resilient and retains it's tight fitting mold. cheaper ones (usually the no-brand/rebranded) are the ones that easily tear, attract mounds of dust from your pocket, and lose their shape after only months of use.

my trusty old iSkin Revo, a 100% silicone case (w/a clear hard plastic screen cover), from more than 2 years ago now still looks brand new and is still hard to remove and put on. it was used every single day from the day it was bought and regularly taken off for iphone docking too.

for silicone cases, the branded ones really do make a difference!

w0w thanks for that info mor. i'm usually skeptical about silicons, but i'll consider coz of your advice.

The neo is good for as long as you don't tear up the silicone membrane which is very, very thin and hard to put on properly. I've also used the rebel however the bottom portion sags after some time and scratches the bezel. The Incase slider i find very expensive and impractical. It doesn't come with anything not even a single piece of screen protector. Unlike, the Capsule Neo and Rebel which comes with two screen protectors a dock adapter and a port protector.

As of the moment I am happily using a Griffin Elan Form Graphite. It's probably the best case in terms of aesthetic and design. I just love the carbon fiber look.

HERE'S how it looks

there's a lot of good cases but for me personally ill go for switcheasy capsule rebel. it offers pure protection for scratches or whatever because of its soft plastic exoskeleton as well as shockprotection because of its hard silicon that covers your iphone. its also an eyecatcher because of its 2-tone design, its like when you pullout your iphone into your pocket and people sees they might say "oh what the hell is that phone?!,, Oh its an iPhone..!" LOL:P

you can also try this product ...nice fit and protected ang iphone mo from scratches specially sa chrome vessel. just my two cents
