Come on... OA naman ng reaction ng IManila...
Apple is claiming copyright on the ICON LOGO not the PHILIPPINE FLAG... Malinaw naman sa post yun.
Why would one insist that Apple is claiming copyright on Philippine flag. Probably if IManila created/submitted a square icon of the Philippine flag, Apple may have accepted it.
Hmm, then we should look for whomever created the Philippine flag pin (you know, the one people have been using during patriotic events and rallies), then he/she could sue Apple for copyrights. I'm sure it existed long before Apple even considered putting up the Philippine Appstore (and thus using that so unique icon).
It's really just absurd that iManila passed a few times already and then suddenly get snagged on this "technicality". It indicates that the Appstore approval process still needs some improving.
I dig the red icon too. good job radioone.
As for that Jeepney icon, ugh. And the misspelling of Manila bothers me more than the icon.
