iPhone 3G 8 GB Black
SN: 798342QDY7H
IMEI: 011714007733572

Brought this unit to Globe a month ago because the backlight died on me. Their verdict is that the unit is "wet." The condition therefore voided the warranty. The unit did not really get wet as in soaked in a pool of water. I assume it got wet because I use it as my music player in the gym. It must've been the moisture in my pocket while working out. The good news is that I was told it can be repaired by a third party. I decided however to just sell it. I'm not sure if anyone would be interested but if ever somebody is, just let me know. It comes with the box and everything that came with it. You may contact me at 09175771973.

Asking price is 12k and is negotiable.

hi everybody, quite new here. And hopefully my iphone would be arriving as expected as promised by globe.

but guess, what... i've already purchased/ordered cases for it! hahaha yup, quite excited as you might say. But hey... we need to care for our belongings

I've already ordered from a guy here an otterbox defender series
(http://www.otterbox.com/iphone-cases...defender-case/) waiting time as been said is around two weeks, well hope they arrived before the iphone gets in my hand.

I've already purchased a uniea i suit premium (http://www.uniea.com/product/iphone-...hard-case.html) just in case the otterbox doesn't arrived earlier, i have something to use.

will post a pic of the two once the otterbox arrived.

thanks-xerk

Alternatively you may download the .deb files on your computer. However, not all deb packages may be downloadable using this method and are only available through cydia.

One big repository (or repo) is Big Boss's repo (http://bigboss.us.com/).

After downloading the deb file, you should do the following:

1. Connect to your iPhone using DiskAid or WinSCP or Cyberduck.
2. Copy over the .deb file to a directory on the iPhone. The recommended folder is /private/var/mobile as you can type the command without referring to any folder location.
3. Open MobileTerminal on your iPhone. (you must install this first)
4. Run as SuperUser. Do this by typing SU and pressing return. You will be prompted for a password. Type alpine (default password) and press return.
5. Type the following (without the quotes) and then press return.
      "dpkg -i .deb"
6. Exit MobileTerminal.
7. You may need to respring/reboot your phone to complete the installation.

OR

1. Browse to the /private/var/root/Media/Cydia/AutoInstall folder using DiskAid or WinSCP or Cyberduck. If this folder(s) does not exist, create the folder(s).
2. Copy over the .deb file to this directory.
3. Reboot the iPhone twice (or reboot once and then respring).

[Mac] CaniHazRecover - Fix iPhone Stuck At Boot Logo

The source of this mac software is qwertyoruiop aka lucatodesco in collaboration with todeskcocc. This is their Snowst0rm blog (http://snowst0rm.wordpress.com/).

Download link from their blog (with bug already patched):
Multiupload (http://www.multiupload.com/LHMVSVILJV)

Here is a short write-up by addictivetips.com (http://www.addictivetips.com/mobile/recover-iphone-from-boot-logo-with-canihazrecover/) via iphoneheat.com (http://www.iphoneheat.com/2010/03/fix-iphone-stuck-at-boot-logo-with-canihazrecover/):

Recover iPhone From Boot Logo With CaniHazRecover

Time and time again you might find your iPhone or iPod Touch stuck in an endless loop on the Apple boot logo. Previously, the only solution used to be restoring your device, which would essentially mean not only considerable consumption of time, but also loss of all your data. iTunes does create backups, but what about the stuff on your media disk?

Enter the solution named CaniHazRecover, a Mac-only tool to recover a boot-stuck iPhone or iPod Touch without causing any damage. Good thing is that using this tool you won’t lose any of your music, pictures, videos etc.
http://www.addictivetips.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/CaniHazRecover.png

Usage is simple. Unzip the downloaded file and run one of the four red-stickered files corresponding to your device. Follow the instructions and your device will be recovered.
http://www.addictivetips.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/a12.jpg

As of now, CaniHazRecover supports iPhone 2G, iPhone 3G, iPod Touch and iPod Touch 2G non-MC model only. It works with Mac operating environment.

Here's an article by iSpazio (http://www.ispazio.net/93084/canihazrecover-un-nuovo-programma-per-correggere-gli-errori-dei-vari-iphoneipod-touch-che-restano-bloccati-sul-simbolo-della-mela-allaccensione):
CaniHazRecover?: A new program to correct the errors of the different iPhone / iPod Touch that remains frozen on the apple symbol, switch

Today we are featuring a new application called "CanIhazRecover?" That solves a problem that sometimes appears on various iPhone after installing package damaged. Did you ever have the original Apple iPhone stuck on the symbol? The device can be considered nearly blocked and the only way to get it working again is to fully restoring the firmware with the loss of all files, music, pictures and more. CaniHazRecover however, will allow you to restore only the files needed to boot, and then within seconds the firmware will be repaired and the iPhone will return to light without the loss of such data!

The tool was created by qwertyoruiop aka lucatodesco in collaboration with todeskcocc. Not yet arrived at a stage "final" but after several tests we can say that is already working properly. The operation is very simple because you do not have to do is download the package, unpack it on your computer and start a file with a red label that you find inside the folder. Start an automatic sequence of instructions to be followed step by step and that will take you to put the device in DFU before you act.

Requires a Mac and is compatible with:
    * iPhone EDGE
    * iPhone 3G
    * iPod Touch
    * iPod Touch 2G NO MC

If you want the easiest and hassle-free way without using a credit card, you can purchase an itunes gift card (there are various denominations) from one of the 3rd party apple resellers there that carry them. You can then use it to purchase not only the full TP app, but other apps which you have been wanting to purchase as well. :D

I'm looking for a used, good condition Mac Mini or Macbook with a dual core processor speed at least 2.0 ghz and at least 2 GB memory.

I have a very tight budget around Php 20K.

If ever, this will be my first ever mac machine and I'm simply going to use it to try developing on it.

good day to all.
I have a SE Cap Rebel before but was extremely dissapointed due to the ff reasons:
1) relatively harder to put in Iphone, might result in side scratches.
2) iphone's temp is pretty hot during charging.
3)the lower rubbery portion gets loose after some time.
4)the white portion of my Black/white case gets dirty easily and hard to clean.

but by the same token, I see in different forums how popular these capsules cases are. It might just be me.

Its always been a marketing strategy for Apple to hoard and limit its 1st initial production of its amazing products. So i would'nt be surprise if they do the same thing with IPAD.

With this in mind, we took the initiative to contact our Apple Distributor in California and have us reserved 30pcs. (5pcs.) for the Wifi (16gb,32gb,64gb) a total of (15pcs.) and (5pcs) for the Wifi +3G (16,32,64GB) a total of 15pcs. GRAND TOTAL : 30pcs.

Hi roswell_online.

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately none of those have the Capsule Rebel M Black in stock. There's only one store there that has the single White one in stock. I want it black.

Anybody here have any more suggestions? As much as possible I don't want to order overseas.

The original version indeed has a minor bug affecting Categories, it doesn't allow you to scroll apps inside the folder.

Version 1.1 update even made it worst, the icons are a big mess, it just fused to one place in the folder (top side).

To fix categories scrolling:

1. Go to Infinidock setting
2. under scrolling bounce, enable or disable it and should do the trick.
