Their verdict is that the unit is "wet." The condition therefore voided the warranty. The unit did not really get wet as in soaked in a pool of water. I assume it got wet because I use it as my music player in the gym. It must've been the moisture in my pocket while working out. The good news is that I was told it can be repaired by a third party. I decided however to just sell it. I'm not sure if anyone would be interested but if ever somebody is, just let me know. It comes with the box and everything that came with it. Version 1.1 update even made it worst, the icons are a big mess, it just fused to one place in the folder (top side). To fix categories scrolling: 1.
